Boubacar Sidick Sidibe

Researcher, Educator and Advisor.

Born in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire, and currently residing in Montréal, Canada, I bring a diverse background in natural science, sustainable agriculture, software engineering, as well as proficiency in French and English languages. These experiences have allowed me to observe the interconnections between various fields and recognize the challenges our society faces in integrating new technological tools and resources into the educational and cultural environment. 

Over the past eight years, as an international student, I have gained valuable insights into different educational systems in Africa, America, as well as online learning. This experience has deepened my understanding of the needs to be addressed in this sector and the possibilities available to us in the ongoing digital revolution, especially in Africa. 

My driving force is a profound belief that our societies can provide far superior education. In today’s world, teaching goes beyond mere instruction and testing. Education should first focus on guiding the learner towards the tools that he needs to be able to master any content relevant to his own upliftment by producing, synthesizing, and evaluating information from diverse subjects and sources, with an understanding of and respect for the various cultures that composes our planet. 

Integrity, creativity, and collaboration are the cornerstones of my professional philosophy. I believe in respect, dignity, and humanity, and these principles guide every aspect of my work.
